Current assisted beta

0.6.0-beta.2 · Personal on Windows

The Windows beta is available as a manual download. This release is unsigned; Windows may show an unknown-publisher or unrecognized-app warning. See the exact filename, size and SHA-256 before installing.

Fresh installs open Secure setup before pairing. Save a public setup request, add the public certificate returned by your beta operator, then check the connection. Private keys stay protected on your PC. Automatic enrollment, automatic renewal and automatic updates are not part of this beta. Personal retains up to eight files with a 5 GiB combined limit; Teams and a broader device network remain planned.

0.5.2 · Straight to the picker

Add files now opens the device’s native picker in one tap. Combined-limit guidance stays on the home screen, and large-video help is available when needed.

  • One shared picker for photos, videos and documents, using the providers offered by your device.
  • Up to eight files per send, 5 GiB combined (about 5.4 GB), subject to browser capability and local space.
  • Separate browser checks for sending and durable receiving, plus clearer source-read and recovery guidance.
  • Pause and recover supported large transfers; explicitly finish Save to Files for phone receives.
  • Optional Windows ZIP packaging bundles originals; it does not reduce already-compressed video size.

The transport passed isolated Chromium large-file testing. This does not establish every physical Safari/iPad combination or guarantee native Photos can supply every large asset.

Know the beta’s boundaries.

Code signing is not available for this assisted beta. New-PC trusted HTTPS setup is still assisted. Automatic updates and paid Teams are not active.
